ปี 2017 เมื่อเราได้ทำศูนย์พักพิงขึ้น มีสุนัขสองตัวเป็นตัวผู้และตัวเมีย อาศัยอยู่ด้านนอกทางประตูเข้าบ้าน และหลังจากนั้นพวกมันก็ให้กำเนิดลูกสุนัขซึ่งเจ้าของก็ไม่ต้องการทั้งพ่อและแม่อีกต่อไป และพวกเขาก็นำมาให้มูลนิธิเราครับ

มันช่างหน้าอนาถจริงๆเขากักขังลูกหมาไว้ข้างนอกบ้านเป็นเวลาเกือบสองปี ท่ามกลางสายฝน
อย่างไม่ใยดี เขาให้อาหารและนำ้กับพวกมันโดยไม่มีอะไรเพิ่มเติมไปจากเดิมเลย ลูกสุนัขเหล่านั้นเริ่มโตเต็มวัยถูกพันธนาการด้วยโซ่ที่ล่ามไว้ยาวเพียงแค่2เมตรเท่านั้นเอง
ซึ่งนั้นมันไม่ใช่วิธี ชีวิตของสุนัขและสิ่งมีชีวิตใดๆ เป็นเวลาเกือบสองปีที่เราอ้อนวอนและขอร้อง
จากเจ้าของ และขออนุญาติให้เรานำสุนัขมาด้วย แต่เขาได้แต่พูดว่า..ไม่..และอ้างตลอดว่าพวกมันเป็นสุนัขเฝ้าบ้านให้เขา มันช่างน่าเสียดายที่เราไม่สามารถพาสุนัขไปกับเราได้ เพราะมันอยู่ในข้อของกฏหมายเราจะผิด

แต่ด้วยความเพียรพยายามของเรา ในที่สุดในความพยายามนี้เขาก็ส่งมอบสุนัขให้กับเราครับ เราขอชมเชยเจ้าของสุนัขที่เปลี่ยนใจในครั้งนี้ด้วย ในที่สุดพวกสุนัขก็ถูกปลดจากโซ่ที่พันธนาการพวกมันมานาน

ตอนนี้พวกมันได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนและทำหมันเรียบร้อยแล้วครับ ถึงพวกมมันจะก้าวร้าวมากเพียงใดซึ่งเราก็เข้าใจพวกมันครับ นั่นคือสิ่งที่เราสามารถทำงานได้อย่างทันเวลาครับ แต่สำหรับตอนนี้พวกมันคงต้องอยู่ในพื้นที่กักกันของเรา
เป็นที่พวกมันจะคุ้นเคยกับเหล่าสุนัขตัวอื่นๆและผู้คนด้วย เรามีความสุขมากที่ได้รับพวกมันมาอยู่ที่มูลนิธิของเราไม่ต้องถูกกักขัง หรือถูกล่ามอีกต่อไป ในที่สุดพวกมันก็สามารถเป็นสุนัขที่เป็นสุนัขจริงๆเสียทีครับ

When we took over the local shelter in 2017, there were two dogs, a male and female, living right outside the entrance with a family. After they gave birth to puppies, the owner no longer wanted the mother and father, and gave them to us.

Tragically, he kept the puppies chained up outside for nearly two years. In the sun, in the rain, he didn’t care. He gave them food and water but nothing more. Those puppies, now fully grown, grew up with chains, only 2 meters long, holding them captive. It was no life for a dog or any living creature.

For nearly two years we pleaded with man to let us take the dogs. He always said no, claiming they were his guard dogs. Unfortunately we couldn’t just take the dogs because in the eyes of the law, we would’ve been wrong.
But our persistence finally paid off. He finally turned the dogs over to us. We appreciate that the owner had a change of heart. The dogs are finally free of the chains that held them for so long.

They have now been vaccinated, neutered, and spayed. They are very aggressive, which we understand. That’s something we can work on in time. But for now, they will stay in our quarantine area where they can get used to other dogs and people too. We are very happy to have them with us, no longer chained up. Now they can finally just be dogs.
