One of our supporters alerted us to a dog in the area suffering from a massive head wound on top of his head. Even with the help of the local residents, we were unsuccessful in our first attempt to find the dog, now named KaiGai. The next day the locals were able to find him and keep him until we arrived. KaiGai had a very large wound on the top of his head.

This can be a common occurrence for street dogs. A small wound can get infected and eventually becomes a terribly infected, gaping wound. The lack of proper nutrition and medical treatment for dogs like KaiGai is basically a slow and painful death sentence.
He is now at our clinic where his wound will be cleaned daily by our veterinarians. He’s also on antibiotics the stop the infection and pain killers. No longer running the streets in search of food and water, Mr. KaiGai can relax and allow us to help him heal. Welcome KaiGai!
