Marky
Marky came to us from the local municipal shelter a year and a half ago. We visit there often and frequently take in dogs due to overcrowding. We always take dogs that need our help the most, like this beautiful boy. He was less than a year old when we saw him at the local municipal shelter. Marky had trouble competing with the other dogs for food. He was extremely skinny and depressed. We knew we could give him a better life. We brought Marky to our sanctuary and he found his place within the pack and adapted very quickly. We believe that given the right environment, any dog can thrive. Marky and his gang spend most of their time on the big concrete bridges overlooking the doggie playground. No longer hungry and stressed, Marky is a very happy boy!
