Henry – can’t walk

30 March 2019. This is Henry, he can’t walk and have problems eating and drinking by himself. He was brought to our clinic today.

He’s very dehydrated, anemic, extremely high white blood count (infection) and we suspect distemper in the central nervous system/brain
He’s admitted and will receive IV fluids and medication.
He’s very stressed.

12 April 2019.
Henry shows he wants to live.
From almost dead and unable to move, he’s been showing great progress and turns out he’s a very sweet and romantic boy.
The wound on the side of his head might come from someone hitting him with a heavy and hard object.
And maybe that’s why he hadn’t been able to walk, a possible concussion.

29 April 2019.
Henry was rescued 1 month ago, unable to walk or move and in a terrible state.
it seems like someone hit him in the head with a heavy and hard object, and that’s most probably the case that he couldn’t walk.
We work with him daily, medication and also acupuncture.
He can stand up by himself with some help, but definitely improving a lot. Well done Mr Henry
